Roots & Rivers: Reforesting Watersheds, Reviving Communities
Community-led forest restoration protecting the last remaining forests of North Negros Natural Park in the Philippines.

Protecting Nature, Empowering Communities
"Tabi Po" means "excuse me, may I pass?" โ words of respect to the spirits of nature. We believe nature deserves reverence and rights.
Increase Forest Cover
Through Assisted Natural Regeneration and native seedling enrichment, we're restoring degraded grasslands with indigenous tree species like Shorea, Vitex, and Syzygium.
Protect Watersheds
Our work safeguards the Sicaba-Himogaan watershed system, ensuring clean water for downstream communities and preventing floods, droughts, and landslides.
Increase Biodiversity
Home to endangered species like the Negros Bleeding-heart dove, Visayan Warty Pig, and Rufous-headed Hornbill โ we're creating refuges for wildlife.
Livelihood & Food Security
We provide sustainable income through forest ranger programs and agroforestry, empowering local families while they protect their ancestral lands.
Our 3-Year Vision (2026-2028)
Community-led forest restoration in Sitio Aluyan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, Philippines

Restoring North Negros Natural Park
The North Negros Natural Park was established in 1946 to protect over 100,000 hectares of virgin forest. Today, only 10% remains. Working with the Aluyan Farmers Association and local government, we're reversing this decline.
Our approach combines traditional indigenous knowledge with modern conservation science, creating a model for community-based forest restoration across the Philippines.

"Tabi Po" โ excuse me, may I pass?
These are words addressed to the spirits that live in the trees, grass, and bushland. Because we believe that nature was here first and deserves to be respected. It is time to return to the traditional belief that nature is dynamic, alive, and worthy of our admiration and protection.
